Rotary compressors RKL 160
Rotary compressors RKL 160 by German manufacturer CVS Engineering GmbH are designed for unloading liquid foodstuffs and chemicals from tanker trucks by air cushion uplift.
Rotary compressors operate on the principle of centrifugal force. The centrifugal force presses to the cylinder the electrographite blades which are fixed in the clearances of the main shaft. The main shaft is mounted on bearings off-centrically to the cylinder axis. When pushed, the blades collect the sucked-in air and pass it towards the exit. With that movement the clearance between the main shaft and the cylinder decreases and the air is compressed. An advantage of this solution is the a uniform stream of dry clean air.
